Lib Dems set for big gains on regional vote

The Scottish Liberal Democrats look set to make huge gains on the regional vote in this May's elections with opinion polls putting Lib Dems LibDems in contention in areas across Scotland.

Nicol Stephen, Leader of the Scottish Liberal Democrats explained "all the evidence of recent elections and current opinion polls points to Liberal Democrats making major gains. We are now well placed to become Scotland's largest party."

Alison McInnes a key candidate on the North East Scotland Regional list Lib Dems the LibDems said "Liberal Democrats have demonstrated that they are a credible and responsible party of government. They are not afraid to take tough decisions. More and more people are telling me that they like our positive approach."
