Alison Calls for Bold Measures to Tackle Climate Change12.00.00am BST (GMT +0100) Wed 13th Jun 2007 Following the news that the SNP Cabinet is set to unveil its Climate Change Bill, Scottish Liberal Democrat spokesperson for Climate Change Alison McInnes MSP has called for the Executive to adopt the Liberal Democrat policy of 100% renewable electricity by 2050. Commenting Mrs McInnes said: "The Scottish Liberal Democrats want a renewables revolution leading to 100% of Scotland's electricity coming from renewable sources by 2050. "The Executive must adopt a bold approach and set radical targets like this if we are successfully to tackle climate change."
