Ellon Resident Chosen as Alison's Local Hero

North East MSP Alison McInnes has chosen local Ellon resident Moira Muir as her Local Hero, who will attend the Session Three Ceremony in the Scottish Parliament later this month.

The event which takes place on the 30th June will see Her Majesty the Queen and the Duke of Edinburgh attend the Session Three Ceremony in Holyrood. The Queen will meet all members of the Scottish Parliament in addition to meeting all of the Local Heroes.

Alison McInnes MSP said "I have lived in Ellon for many years now and I chose Moira Muir as my local hero for her continued outstanding contribution to community life in Ellon. Moira works so hard for all of Ellon and choosing her as my local hero is just a small attempt to say thank you for all her hard work".
