12.00.00am BST (GMT +0100) Fri 26th Oct 2007

Alison McInnes MSP today praised 17 year-old Hayley Wilson from Keith after she scooped a prize at Project Scotland's 'Voscars'.

Hayley won the 'Children and Young People' award, celebrating her outstanding contribution to the Loft Youth Project, set up by concerned residents of the Moray Town to give young people a space of their own.

McInnes said, "The whole of Keith benefits from this facility, which provides young people with a great place to meet, enjoy themselves, and learn useful skills. We should all likewise join with Project Scotland in applauding Hayley for her award-winning contribution."
